OUR TEAM
David Winer
David is a Member and the Portfolio Manager of Calm River Capital LLC, overseeing the firm’s investment strategy.
David has been a member of the adjunct faculty at Boston University in the Questrom School of Business, where he taught investment analysis and portfolio management. David is currently the advisor to the Yale Undergraduate Diversified Investments club (“YUDI”), Yale University’s largest undergraduate finance organization. He started his career as an investment banking analyst at Goldman Sachs in New York.
Ethan Blinder
Ethan is a Member and the Chief Compliance Officer of Calm River Capital LLC.
In addition to his work with Calm River Capital LLC, Ethan is a principal for the Nesor Group and is responsible for the management of a $200+ million dollar portfolio of residential, commercial and retail real estate.

Ethan is a graduate of Cornell University and Brooklyn Law School where he focused on real estate finance and tax.
Ari Blinder
Ari is a Member and the Chief Operations Officer of Calm River Capital LLC.
Ari brings a wealth of expertise to the firm. Having graduated from Emory University, Ari's journey includes founding and serving as the principal broker of Simplr, one of the premiere boutique real estate brokerages in NYC. His tenure at Simplr was marked by innovative strategies, elevating the standards of service and performance within the competitive real estate landscape of New York City. Ari's experience and entrepreneurial spirit further amplify the forward-thinking ethos at Calm River Capital LLC.
